Residents Enjoying Guests Singing

Our Monday Church Service

On Monday the 15th of November, after lunch our residents at The Amwell Care Home enjoyed a Church service delivered by our lovely visitors, Tony and Linda. Tony, Linda and the rest of the residents at The Amwell sung some wonderful hymns, followed by beautiful prayers and read out some inspiring psalms to everyone. The service presented was so well received and enjoyed by all at The Amwell Care Home.

At The Amwell Care Home we highly respect the spiritual needs of our residents and regularly attend services at our local Church, as well as host services at our home. We also recognise the benefits from the relationships we have with our local schools, churches and nurseries which further enhance the social wellbeing of our residents.

We encourage our residents to participate in a variety of different activities and projects to give our residents an opportunity to get to socialise with one another and build new relationships with each other. This also allows our residents to feel a sense of independence and responsibility.

We have seen first hand the benefits that our activities programmes can have on residents, which is why our teams go to great efforts to arrange activities that can allow our residents to step out of their comfort zones.

If you're interested in finding out more about our activities programme or any of the other facilities and care services we offer, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our friendly team members.
