The Amwell is a beautiful, luxury care home located in the market town of Melton Mowbray. A residential care home offers accommodation, facilities, and 24-hour personal care to elderly people and those who struggle to live independently. It also offers ‘group living’ and therefore is a great alternative for those who don’t like to live alone or are seeking companionship.
Care staff are available day and night in a residential care home and provide help with a variety of personal care such as washing, dressing, mobility, and communication. Unlike nursing homes, residential care homes only provide support for this type of care and low-level nursing needs. Community nurses and doctors can be requested to visit residents if more advanced nursing care is identified as needed.
Residential care enables people to continue living their lives but without the stresses of daily life. All mealtimes are provided as well as social activities, and additional medical services can be arranged, such as visits to a GP and physiotherapy. Residents are often encouraged to enjoy fresh air, vitamin-D and the peace that nature brings. As part of our residential care in Melton Mowbray, we go to great lengths to make the most of our surroundings and build relationships with the local community, such as businesses and schools.
