Dining in our home is incredibly varied, as we boast several dining rooms, a private dining area for friends and family and even our very own ‘The Amwell Arms’ bistro! Whether you want to enjoy a casual lunch, a sit down meal or even just a couple of drinks, there are plenty of areas around our home that can help you do just that.

We understand how important mealtimes are, and many have a real appreciation for good food. We are proud to have our very own in-house Chef who leads a wonderful team in creating a delicious and varied menu, offering a wide selection of home cooked meals every single day. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner, every meal is made with love and served in one of our luxurious dining facilities.

We value mealtimes at The Amwell Care Home, as they provide ample opportunities to get together and share memories, laughs and discuss the events of the day. Friends and family are also welcome at any time and we have a private dining room available to host celebrations

Our in-house Chef and team receive ongoing training and work extremely hard to prepare dishes that are high-quality and use only the finest ingredients. We proudly cater for food preferences, nutritional and dietary requirements. Who doesn’t love a trip to the pub? In the UK, going to the local pub has become one of life’s simple pleasures, and almost a cultural staple when it comes to socialising not only with your nearest and dearest, but when it comes to making new friends as well. The Amwell Arms bistro is our number one spot on site at The Amwell Care Home for grabbing a bite to eat, a couple of drinks and enjoying some of the very best entertainment around.

Local entertainers also love to visit The Amwell Arms, especially musicians who come to serenade our residents with beautiful renditions of a variety of classics, and some residents even end up having a little dance too! Whether you want to get stuck into all of the action, or you’d rather sit and enjoy the show from the sidelines, there’s always a chair with your name on it at The Amwell Arms. For dining, residents have access to a range of spaces including our dining rooms, private bedrooms, and, weather permitting, our garden area.

Absolutely, you have full control over your meal choices. Simply make your selection from our diverse menu. You can opt for items on the menu, or you can have a conversation with our catering staff to explore potential alternatives in certain cases. Our team is more than happy to discuss special dietary needs or adjustments to the menu with you.
