With Love from The Amwell

At The Amwell Care Home in Leicestershire, we love celebrating all occasions, big or small and our activities team always goes to great lengths to create a programme full of stimulating activities and events for our residents to look forward to.

This Valentine's Day was no different and residents woke up to find our home beautifully decorated thanks to our fantastic night team.

The residents gathered for a special meal in our brilliantly decorated dining room both at lunchtime and dinner, which was lovingly made by our catering team. Meals included hearty stews, pies, and soups partnered with treacle tart and banoffee pie for dessert.

Both our residents and staff had a great day together, indulging in sweet treats, gifts, and wonderful themed meals. The love was most certainly spread throughout the home and it certainly made us all a lot closer.
