Feeling ‘Good’ About our Recent CQC Score

The Home Manager and wider team are delighted to announce that The Amwell Care Home has received a 'Good' overall rating from the Care Quality Commission.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is a regulatory board that inspects a wide range of medical and social care services in England, rating them and providing feedback to ensure that they provide a high quality of care.

Our report rated us as good across the following five services; Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-Led.

We take great pride in the high standard of care we deliver to each and every one of our residents, as well as the warm and homely environment we have here, and the range of onsite facilities that allow our residents to live each day as they wish.

As a team, we are extremely happy with the recognition we have received for our hard work and will now continue to strive for that 'Outstanding' grade.
