The Amwell Care Home in Leicestershire offers exceptional levels of Residential Care as well as Dementia Care and Respite Care for up to 88 residents.

In a residential care home, care staff is there to provide care and support day and night. They provide as little or as much assistance as residents need, whether it’s with personal care, mobility or just being a friendly face to talk to. We understand the difficulty in deciding to move yourself or a loved one into a care home. Prospective residents and their loved ones are welcome to book a tour of our home and have a consultation with our Home Manager or member of the senior care team, in order to ensure our care home meets their individual needs. When residents move to The Amwell, our care teams create their very own personalised care plan that details their requirements as well as preferences and interests. We monitor care plans regularly and collaborate with residents and their relatives if care needs change.
As well as Residential Care, we also offer Dementia Care and Respite Care. As a residential care home, we provide care and support to those with low-level nursing needs. However, our care home has access to community nurses and doctors who can be requested to visit if more advanced nursing care is identified as needed. It is important to us that we deliver high standards in everything we do. We are proudly regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), an organisation that regularly inspects adult health and social care services across England, to ensure that high-quality care and support are provided.

Residents are able to spend days exploring their local neighbourhood as well as discovering places further afield such as Loughborough, Leicester, and the surrounding areas.
